Our world is full of wonderful places.
They may be amazing like unforgettable landscapes or wonders of Nature that became famous all over the world and every year are visited by crowds of tourists.
But they can also be just humble places that, in the course of our personal history, turned out to be very special and wonderful places to each of us.
It may be just a wild beach you love to walk in during winter days, listening to the scream of the seagulls and following their flight, open wings in the wind over the roaring waves.
Or just a simple field you must cross to meet your friends, on weekends, before you start to play your favourite sport. And, with time, you came to look at this field as a friendly space, as a bit of Nature that somehow belongs to you and to whom you belong.
Or, on the contrary, it may be a perfect hiding-place, a secret retreat you decorated yourself in the attic of your home or in a corner of your garden and where you can feel protected when you need to think, to write or just to be alone.
So,
- How is or would be a “Wonderful Place” to you?
- Why do you or would you enjoy to go there?
- What can you or would you do in this place?
- With whom do you or would you like to share it?

Hi
I think that a special place to em is somewhere that I want to go often or do go often. It,to me, is a place where I can escape from everything else, and just like Jacob said once, a special place is like a place where you can find your inner sanctum. I have one, but you’ll have to visit my blog to find out what it is…

I like being on a river just as the sun is setting. I live near a river and it calms me and makes me really appreciate how beautiful the world is when I see the sun setting over the tall marsh grass. I like to watch it with anyone who won’t talk through it..because then I don’t think they are really looking if they are distracted talking. I remember seeing a dolphin jump up out of the water at sunset one day. That was very special.

A wonderful place for me is my mind and imagination. Anything can change and happen in there. It can create a world to escape to and do whatever I want. It forms around my mood and creation, like a chamillion changes color. Thats a wonderful place to me.
