Wow...I wish our school year was more toward the beginning of the year instead of August. I teach in Beaufort, South Carolina and can't wait for the blogs to be up and running for your new year so my students can post to them.

Stora Ines,
What a great way to welcome the Australian and New Zealand schools back into the land of blogging. Next week I will be creating blogs for students in both grades 6/7 and my grade 8 ICT class. I will make sure they are linked on the blogroll on the sidebar of the blogs and I will be recommending the students start coming to this blog to learn how to write great comments. They will also be able to visit the other student blogs to make decisions about themes and widgets as all the grade 8 students will be at least 13 years old.

Starting in less than two weeks will be the new 2009 student blogging challenge. We have some new students joining us that did not take part last year, so hopefully they will enjoy themselves over the next ten weeks.

If you or your students haven't registered yet, visit here to sign up for the challenge : http://wyatt67.edublogs.org/2009/01/18/a-new-year-means-a-new-challenge/
