Miss Ale’s class in Argentina and my Grade 4/5 class in South Africa have been writing stories collaboratively in circle groups using Etherpad.  I have been looking around for ways of presenting these stories on blogs using a programme other than Empressr which downloads very slowly or sometimes not at all. I came across Slideboom.com and am eager to see if it opens up more easily. (Don’t forget to use the full screen button on the right bottom). There’s only one problem – anyone viewing can download the story as well. Do you think this is something that can be abused?

We enjoyed reading your story. What a great idea to share the writing between two countries! We would like to try something like that too. We have a classblog and you might like to visit it. It can be found at menziescreekfab5s.globalstudent.org.au. Drop by and say hello. We will visit again and hopefully read more of your stories.
    Cheers, Mrs T & the Fab 5’s

Thanks very much Mrs T. The story writing has been amazing, I must say. Your blog is great too. I’d love to know how you got three photos side by side like that. Do tell! Let’s try and do some collaborating next term.
